This 800-square-foot stand-alone ADU was designed for a client with a distinct vision for her dream space. Inspired by her love of steampunk and her curated collection of artifacts, the home blends industrial charm with thoughtful craftsmanship.

Built from the ground up, every detail was carefully considered—from the colour palette to the choice of tiles and fixtures—creating the sensation of being aboard a ship. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with slab countertops and ample storage, offers the functionality of a full-sized home within a compact footprint.

Warm flooring, layered textures, and clever design choices make the space feel open and intentional. Just outside, a deck tucked among fruit trees provides the perfect spot for evening drinks with friends, extending the home’s personality and inviting character outdoors.
